Post manual seatbelt conversion

well i converted my seatbelts from automatic to manual.

it was fairly simple. it just took a little time. but nonetheless its done.

i used the seatbelt assembly from the rear seats of my 94 celica.

works like a charm.

s13 in US came only with automatic seatbelts or power seatbelts, whatever you want to call them.

i believe that is correct.

Yep, all s13's in the US have power seatbelts. There was a discussion on it a little bit ago and about how Canada has manual seatbelts in s13's

I know here the only advantage is that they lower my insurance, other than that they are a pain in the ***

the advantage is the excuse of having to work on your car to avoid a girl.

The cars when they released needed an automatic restraint system. Most cars got airbags. Be thankful we got seatbelts that take 1 hour to swap to manual belts.

You don't need to weld when using the S14 belts. I do not know what the deal is with the Toyota belts.

Dont you just love when you get in your car not paying attention and reach down for something while your starting the thing and they try to strangle you?

Best.

Come off the track.

Car will not let you go.

Open the door.

Fall out of the car *** first because the belts are choking you.
