masochistic electrical post

Right, no one say ECU.

I have electrical issues including but not limited too
*deep breath*
passenger side power window locked in upright position (Much fun in 102 heat) driver's side power seatbelt does not retract when ignition is off, Clock resets to 1:00 when restarted, CD player gets power but does not extend to the detachable face, close door light always on, intermittent "take keys out" bell at random times, and (a personal favorite) windshield wipers automatically engage for exactly three passes when ignition is keyed.

I am prepared to send an ASCII fruit basket to whoever can conclusively tell me I blew a fuse, other then that, what is the world I am looking for... oh yeah.. HELP!

simelar thing happend to my moms mercury when the battery acid leaked on to her fuse box and ate through some wires. Sounds like you have some shorts/bad grounds some where which is causing stuff to go loopy.

Id check to see if you have some bare wires that have either been melted to just lose and touching somewhere.

When did the issues start? Did this happen all at once or or one at a time? Did you add anything to the car before this hapened?

But to tell you I had some of the same issues( I think, it has been a while) & it was just bad grounds. Also like stated check the fuse box by the battery, as corrosion is VERY common there.
