Hello, this is probably a stupid question but just curious if any of you guys have had the same problem. Every once in a while i get in my car and smell this horrible mildew. Its bad. Like rotten *** and what not. The first time I narrowed it down to the fact that there had been a spilt beer in the backseat upon puchasing. I dried it out, steam cleaned it blah blah. It went away.

Just the other night, i had a rather frightening experience. I fell asleep at the wheel on the interstate and drove off into the median. Of course the majority of my backend was submersed in water and believe it or not I MADE IT OUT without calling wrecker (wich is a good thing cause was pretty greased). Well the following day and currently the god awful smell i had worked to hard to disapate is back. Keep in mind. when i ran off into the water i never got out.


*Have any of you noticed some sort of leaking from the bottom up the car up to the floorboard during wet conditions?? if so please let me know and help with a solution (i know one if them is, i need to stop driving into ponds but...) i am still thinking there is some sort of plastic peice missing form the bottom or somthing.

 

you submersed the car in water. Not all of what got wet is exposed to sunlight or anything with heat that will dry the water. Do the math dude.
