I need to remove the actual mirrors from the USDM bases and place them in the JDM bases. How do you get them out without breaking something?

 

remove interior door panel. remove triangle cover. remove weather seal. unscrew and unplug (if power mirrows)

 

No. I need to take the mirror itself from one complete mirror unit and place it in another complete mirror unit. The JDM mirrors have a different field of vision than the USDM units. Things do appear closer than they actually are so to speak.

 

ohhh, umm no idea..... sorry man.

but i'd try the 2 or 3 screws at the bottom under the pop-off cover.
