Moving is destroying my plans
Moving is destroying my plans
So here I am: I have a new (or at least new to me) 240 and a decent bank-roll, I have some plans for what I want to achieve with it and I am in the midst of smoothing out all the kinks and turning it into a nice ride. And all of a sudden I get a job offer from a friend of a friend. I was offered a full time teaching position at an English academy in Sanjo Japan. Now, my typing might not always show i,t but I have always had an interest in teaching English and I have recently gotten my TESOL certificate. IN any event I think I am going to be taking the job and moving over to Sanjo this next April. Now what does this mean for me and my 240? Well, I don't think it would make much sense to send it over to Japan, so it means I am putting a stop more or less to my project. Now that doesn't mean I won't make improvements or repairs, just that anything I will do I will do with the mindset that I will be selling it next spring. So here is my question for you: What car should I buy when I get to Japan? Silvia? Skyline? 180SX? What else?
As expenisve as cars are here, they are even more expensive over there (as far as fees to keep it on the road, fuel, maintenance, etc etc). But in reality if I went to japan I would probably get something like a jzx100 chaser, r32 gtr, Levin or trueno coupe, ooh maybe a cappuccino, maybe a laurel, ooh or an 88 soarer,................. there are way too many choices and they pretty much all have a huge selection of parts over there. lol Pretty much just go over there and then decide for yourself lol.
