Anywayz, MTV is going to hook up with a shop for performance. My friend at prostreetonline is meeting up with mtv execs to see if they can get some deals going on. So stop whining about the damn performance mods.

the thing is... his car wasn't ****.. other than it being an automatic, it was nice.. he had all matching rims, the kit was put on right, it just needed painted. everything worked.. mtv has them mess with the cars to make them look worse.. and they record the reactions like 5 times....

I've seen that guy, NO LIE.
He was driving on the 22 freeway in Garden Grove. I saw green car w. a huge *** wing..followed it got next to it..and started laughing. I guess he saw me laughing and floored. Trying to act cool and all..but that ended quick. I took off w. him in 3rd gear..held the gear till I was next to him and shifted..he heard my BOV and slowed down. sucks for him
I signalled him to pull over so I can see the rest of the car..and what MTV really did to it. But he didn't want to..I'll prolly see him again and have him join club240..and really show him the beauty of his future Silvia.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and yes I saw them. I didnt like it thats that. HOWEVER if Mtv told me they wanted to pimp my ride this is what I would do.
1. Take the offer
2. Act suprised and take the car home
3. Part the crap out of it or sell it
4. Buy another 240 PLUS have money to mod it.

I think they made some kinda agreement that he has to keep the car for X amount of time. I also believe he got mad sponsorships for the car after it got done. Also from what I heard he swapped the old cf hood back on and some other things.
Fast1One - i'd prolly do the same thing as u, but I'm sure restrictions / agreements wouldn't make it as much of a quick and painless process as u'd think

thats pretty much what all of us would do...and what u mean by sponsorships?...what if u dont want to enter it in shows and $hit...im sure u can do whatever u want with it...
