Unhappy my 1995 a OBDI or OBDII

welli read all over the forums and they say some of the 95's are OBDII, but i dont know any visual diffs, some guy said look for a diagnostics port, when i did i saw a lil plug right above all the fuses, no idea if its a diagnostics port, so i need to know if yall have any visual differences between the two. Or if that plug is a diagnostics port.

All 95s are OBDI. I have a 95 and I went through this dilema when looking for a replacement KA. If you have a single wire going to your o2 sensor, it is OBDI. There are some other visual things, but I forget. All S14s have that diagnostic port.

Not all 95s are OBDI, I have an OBDII 95. I think you can look for an 02 sensor after the cat if its OBDII.

If you want a turbo kit go here: http://www.import-autoperformance.com/240sxstage1.html

But honestly it would be much cheaper to piece the parts together yourself. Go to Ka-t.org and do some research.

This is false.
To tell the differences in OBD1 and OBD 2 there are a couple of differences in smog equipment.
Things to look for in OBD 1 SCV, one CAT, and one O2 sensor.
Things to look for in OBD2 1 CAT butted to the exhaust manifold, a resonator after the CAT and 2nd o2 sensor.
Early 94 production s14's were OBD1
Production that continued (I believe after August, not shure) was OBD2.

I dunno what that means and I have tried lookin it up but no luck so.....Ill have to figure it out.... ...I think Ill check my tranny fluid with the bold instead of that stuid dip stick tomorrow.....then see what happens, would too much tranny fluid cause these problem

My 1995 240sx was manufactured in May of 1994. I have a sticker that says the OBD port is on the passenger side. Do you guys know if it is OBDI or OBDII?

I'm very new to working on cars. I apologize for asking so many questions. Where should I look on my exhaust system? Can I see it without using a lift?
