my baby needs a life saving transplant

i was driving down the road (not speeding). i was going about 45mph, when an old lady decided to pull out right in front of me(almost head on). i didnt even have time to hit the breaks. it stoped my car dead in its tracks. i didnt even roll forward an inch. it messed up my neck, cracked 3 of my ribs, and bruised my chest cavaity. as soon as i find out what her insurance company says, i will find another and swap everything i can. i have over $6000 in the engine alone(parts and labor), and only have about 2000 miles on it. i still have most of my reciepts, totaling about $8000. i am going to try to get the blue book value and also keep the car. a part of me died with the car!!!!

did the police ever question you?
i mean, with all the performance parts, did they automatically assume you were doing the wrong?

i had a witness, and the lady admited she was the one that pulled out on me, but the nitrous bottle in the back seat didnt help any, they were a little rude. i have a court date now, becuase i didnt have insurance, and they gave me a ticket.

seriously man i feel ya.. i mean in your case it was unavoidable but me.. i was stupid and my whole right quarter panel is useless as per the unibody... ouch

i have spent many and i mean MANY hours on working on the car alone... as along with all the cash and credit card bills...

so i just bought a new chassy.. and the swap is starting but i think for me to do it myself .. it's gonna take til around next june or july to finish swapping everything out... hey but look at it this way ... it's your chance to fully learn about the car... and actually do little tweaks to it.. you will be tearing it apart right? ... hehe... and yes i am carless so i take the train now... but it's not that bad after like 3 months hahahha

but good luck!! cause i know i need it

im sorry to say, but without insurance you're most likely f8cked!

in my case the other guy ran a stop sign and hit me, that car had no insurnace, he got no licence, it wasn't even his car, then after i got his info, he left the scene of the accident (which is like hit and run),, as for me i got insruance but it was under my brother's name who live at a different address.. but in the end, i got screwed, insurnace company is F*cked up... i fixed up the car myself with a hammer,... i say i did a pretty good job, hehe
