My Brake Booster (didnt really explode)
**** **** **** **** I was driving to work today and came to a red light and BAM my brake booster exploded. Flew right through the intersection, barely missed oncoming traffic, paked the car in the middle of the road and then I couldnt keep it running because of the extreme vaccuum leak.
On that note anybody know how much Pick-N-Pull charges for a brake booster?
Sorry just needed to vent. At least I got my Hardees Philly Cheese Steak burger today.

and lets not forget the cracked windshield
*EDIT*
I feel dumb, the brake booster didnt go bad after all. A motor mount broke and when the engine torqued it pulled on the vaccuum line that goes to the brake booster. It eventually pulled the vaccuum line apart where it connects in the middle of the firewall, I just didnt see it when i was looking at it on the side of the road.

I dont think I will be able to handle hockey pucks, I'm looking for something stiffer than stock but not solid. In my defense i didnt know there was a connector in the middle of the vaccuum line and from the angle I was looking at it I couldnt see the connector. I noticed it as I was walking back to the car when I had the hood open. But yeah, I reconnected it and was like "how the eff does a vaccuum line just come disconnected?" so my dad told me to hold the brake and rev it up in gear, and the motor torqued so much it ripped the hose right off again. I havent actually gotten under the car yet but we think its a motor mount, either that or the vaccuum hose REALLY shrunk.

The engine mount? It didnt, it just went bad(either the rubber tore or the stud broke) and now theres like 5 inches of back and forth motion when the engine's under load. Enough to pull the vaccuum line apart with ease. Right now we got a hose clamp on it and we loosened it from the firewall, its not coming apart any time soon, but regardless it still needs to be fixed properly.
