ignition fuse, coil, battery, all fuses, seat covers, turn signals, hatch handle, fuel door, cigarette lighter.

if it turns over fine then it's most likely not your battery, but just to make sure get a volt meter and check the voltage while the engine cranks. if it drops to like 5v it the battery.

check any ignition related fuses, coil, distributor and make sure the wires are on correctly.

also just curios about the fuel, what did you check and how? the reason i ask is because you could also be getting too much fuel which would foul the plugs.

check to see if you get spark to the plugs.

make sure your battery, starter, alternator power/ground wires are all tight, and do your lights dim or anything when you crank it

any updates? i'm almost positive the faulty seat covers were not the cause of your problem. the things everyone else mentioned are far more likely to be the cause.

haha, i know i was a big poop-head, but there is a "search" button and these procedures are the same for just about every car on the planet, so www.google.com is a great way to keep from bogging down this site, unless you just wanna make friends.

^^^
or get your post count up there in the 1000's. but i don’t think it was either one for this girl. she's only had 1 post. odds are she needed help and figured a forum with a specific interest (240s) was the best place to look.

i still would like to know what ever happened with the car. it would be nice to know we actually helped.

How about giving some background on how you drive it, where you drive it, weather, etc? Cars usually just dont stop working out of nowhere without a reason...
