My luck with s13's have gone to SH*T, what would u do?

i had a 1990 white hatch with 74,000 miles on it, pristine condition.. not one spec of rust.. this was back in 2005. my friend crashed it into a house becuz he took the turn too fast and doesn't know how to drive rwd. bent the frame, and ripped off the steering rack. its been sitting in front of my house since.

i got 1992 white hatch with 140,000 miles on it, the model with HICAS and LSD.. two weeks into it, the clutch went.. then mid summer i ran over a huge rock and had to get a steering rack, tie rods, tie rod ends, alignment etc, then put a waterpump on it .. got ripped off for $2800 for the car and invested about $3000 in parts and labor... so anyway about two weeks ago i crashed into a minivan and pushed back the bumper support and radiator support, the headlights were shot, hood bent, passenger fender crunked... so ive been outside for the past week pulling it with a chain around a tree.. pulling banging, cutting my hands open... rediculous sh*t.. took apart the front of my '90 and used the bumper support and got the headlights off successfully but nothing lines up when i try to piece it together.. so today i kinda gave up.

my friend wants to sell me his black 92 hatch with like 170,000mi on it, he bought it for $700 and did mad donuts for two weeks and now its sitting in his driveway with a blown waterpump.. needs brakes and random small stuff, but its not bent all out of shape like both of mine.. oh and it needs a slave cylinder because the clutch pedal stays to the floor sometimes??????????? does that sound correct????????

what would you guys do if you were me?? fix my white 92 and invest more money that i dont have for this bs or would you buy my friend's black 92 which could just be another headache of problems??

If you're buying an s13 you're buying a car that's 14-18 years old so there's BOUND to be something that needs to be fixed. Just be sure the car is in good operating condition befor you go thrashing it.

water pump is easy. just takes a while to get to it, then putting everything back. careful not to overtighten too!

4x6 does suck but the sub in the back compensates. Either way, covered 4x6s are better than naked 4x6s, and i need those effing covers. Ive had 3 people so far back out on selling me theirs.

ahhh i really dont know what to do.. i did so much work on my '92... i just need an auto body shop to finalize lining it up for the headlights.. i really dont think i can spend one more dollar on that car, my main reason being that i snapped a ****ing spark plug in the 3rd cylinder... so yeah i could drive it around on 3 cylinders if i fix it but whatever that car is basically done...

i think i might buy my friend's black '92... only problem is that i dont know if its the water pump or the ****in head gasket... he's saying it leaks fluid from the rear of the engine, but a mechanic told him its a water pump... if the headgasket was blown wouldnt it smoke out of the exhaust and it would smell sweet like antifreeze, right???

idfk

1) dont let your friends drive your cars
2) watch where your driving and dont hit stuff.
3) maintain your vehicles

follow theese 3 simple steps and you probally would of been good from the start.
