You can swap a manual transmission but it might be a little pricey, the stock KA24DE has 155 hp. It really depends on what kind of turbo setup and how much boost you will be running but expect around 210 - 250 hp.

You know what I feel like?

I feel like eating a burrito. In Fact, I think I'm getting some right now!

Taco Bells food is always, I don't even know how to explain it.

Anyway, yeah.. you can change your 240 over to a manual. I know I'm just a n00b here, but the search button is your friend. I'm sure a few other members have swapped from auto to manual.

$4000 for a turbo? are u a honda driver??? dont get a kit piece it together. depending on how good u get i would say upwards of 1500-2000 for a pretty good set up. expect around 300-350whp if not more with that much $.

no offense--
this guy doesn't even know he can swap an MT in, no way he can piece together a turbo set-up.

Shayan, read up some more, and search around on various topics.
www.about.com .. search for turbos, i learned a ton there.
upwards of 300 hp, is not going to be acheieved buy a bolt-on turbo. Egine work must be done to withstand that much boost. Your only safe running 6-8psi in the Ka with the stock internals.

Keep searching man.

doing a basic rebuild, replacing the gaskets, porting the intake and head, polishing, pretty much clean everything in the motor, crank etc. replace the pistons with some nice forged ones 9:1 is a nice ratio (pretty common) can be found by cp pistons. then you can buy your bolt ons. should give you a nice set up
