i know nothin about LSD's or rear diffs. I'm sick of having one wheel spin and need some sort of limited-slip or posi rear end. some kid told me that i could go to a nissan dealership and have my diff converted to limited slip for like $500. Is this true? (i doubt it) any help on where to go or what to look for is great and i thank you in advance.

from what ive heard its not that bad for dd. if your taking a uturn or something the tires might screech a little bit. but then again i dont have one, that just what ive heard. lol you could just cheap out and go welded. same amount of power to each wheel at all times and another way to wear out your clutch!!!

You probably won't find a diff that's nice AND cheap, but on the nice side probably around $800 for a nismo 2-way.

 

are 1.5's cheaper, and i can order nismo parts through a nissan dealership, can't i?

 

In my experience prices vary only from brand to brand, not from 1-1.5-2. You might be able to buy a nismo from the dealership, but dealerships have a nasty habit of charging full MSRP.

yea, my dad got all his TRD stuff from the dealership that sold him his Scion TC (gay) , but they cut the price for him since he already spent $23,000 on his car.
