Need a New Car: 240sx, 300zx, Integra?

I just recently wrecked my 1999 Cavalier coupe. It served me with 125k miles on it. It had a 155 hp 2.4 motor.

So now Im looking for a new car. My budget is about <6000. Im considering the following: Nissan 300zx, Nissan 240sx, Acura Integra. Im not planning to do much engine work or swap on them because of budget constraints AND reliability concerns. I do plan to upgrade the suspension tho. As far as Nissan 240sx's, I love the S14 the most, but S13 coupes or hatches would do also.

Many people think that the Integra is the most practical cars among all of them. Supposedly Nissans are a ***** to work on. Whats ur guys opinion? Sorry to sound like a newbie

ur budget a under 6k? dman dude, that's a hella lot more money than most of our budget on here,,, haha, with 6K u cna have a mean ride yo,, i would personally get a 240sx for 1.5-2k 89 - 93, get sr20det and all was required things like exhuast intercooler and everything for 4-4.5k and some coilover and rods, then u'll be all set..

it is true, nissan is a b*tch to work with, haha, how many screw do u need to hold down a fender?!??! hahaha

nissans are not hard to work on

as far as the car choose it depending on what u wanna so

we all know 240;s are a great drift car but also can drag.

350 can be turned into sick drag cars

integra;s are great for auto x and drag

u can do what ever with either car car just choose a platform based on ur likes and dislikes

integra is by far the most RELIABLE.

Maybee not the most FUN.
About equal with speed.

But deff. the most reliable.

Now. Let the honda flaming begin. I know it's coming.....Facts are facts though. Honda reliability> Nissan Reliability

you're not going to find a 300ZX in good condition for under $6000 unless you get a Z31 (ghetto ), and you'll get a decent OBD-I Integra for around $6000, but my vote goes to the 240...which you can get either a S13 or S14 in very nice condition for under $6k.

Ive owned both an integra (a LS and a Type R) and a 240 (current car) and yes, the 240 is the easiest to work.

I can tell you right now, my car is NOT a ***** to work on Although the 350Z is probably the biggest ***** to work on as far as Nissans are concerned. You could easily find a used S13 for <6000...but find a nice 300zx (especially TT) is going to be a little harder
