I purchased a Cat-Back exhaust made by PaceSetter of Ebay for around $150 shipped. It included a dual tipped muffler that wasn't bad nor too great. Didn't quite have the sound I was looking for.

From their webpage is the following info.

The exhaust flow of an engine has a direct effect on the performance. MONZA Performance Exhaust Systems utilize the right combination of larger than-stock, 16-gauge, mandrel-bent tubing and low back-pressure, high-flow performance mufflers for cooler, smoother engine operation and increased performance. Each system uses corrosion-resistant aluminized steel and features chrome-plated MONZA Exhaust Tips with Resonators. The finish is a durable black paint. Necessary hardware and instructions are included. MONZA Performance Exhaust Systems are designed to replace the original equipment muffler system and, in many cases, attach to the stock catalytic converter.

I have the complete exhaust system by PaceSetter, from head to Muffler with OEM converter.

I previously tried running the exhaust straight through, but hated the lose in backpressure torque. The sound of the exhaust was very raspy - not the sound I was going for.

So I bought a new OEM converter and it toned the sound a little deeper to my liking, but its still raspy on hard launches. Been thinking about Borla mufflers, for the deeper tone I'm looking for.

As for me DC sports header, and the CATCO 2.5" in, and the 2.5" out... Pretty throaty once you open it up.... Also keeps the Noise pollution down........

I have stock header, hollowed cat, and 3" catback with silencer...without the silencer there's no torque, when i shift it just bogs down like crazy for awhile until the airflow gets back up...so I put the silencer back in, and it seems to help quite a bit.. i'll be turbo fairly soon though so I should be good.
