needing transmission/clutch diagnosis
i was coming back to college today, pulled into the parking lot and changed gears, i have a 92 240 manual, after i changed gears and let the clutch back in i heard a loud thump from my transmission and the clutch had much less resistance and doesn't work i downshifted from 3grand in 3rd to whatever in 2nd, i think around 4.5 cuz i was braking also... i am not sure if there is just a cable that snapped or what, i just put in a new pressure plate and clutch and the flywheel was just resurfaced at end of summer so i don't see how those could be it.
you have a hydrualic clutch.
if u had the flywheel resurfaced, was it the first time. I pretty sure if the flywheel is resurfaced wrong or to many times u can have problem. u may have to take ur tranny off and check the throw-out bearing and make sure the pressure plate is tq'ed properly.

so maybo throw out bearing, cuz that is also new maybe the hydraulic pump gave out and needs to be replaced? and i forgot to add that the car still ran while in gear it didn't just scrape into neutral
