For $500 to $800 open her up with an exhaust system (header, highflow cat, cat back, and a cheapo K&N filter).
Or for $500 to $800 (SAFC, Wide band o2 LM1 of course, iridium spark plugs) ,adjust your A/F ratio to advance timing more than the typical 5 degress.
For $500 to $800 Subframe spacer bushing's, aluminum or chromoly flywheel, and a brand new clutch.
For $500 to $800 you can get a FAL electric fan, thermostatic switch, aluminum crank pulley, water wetter, power brace bar/ and or new tie rods.

You can do any number of those modifications and mix and match according to price.

yeaup. I would really gather info for yourself man and buy accordingly. don't let another person tell you what to buy, its your ride bro and either way you will learn what works and what doesn't.

im not saying don't take advice, but take what you read with a grain of salt and go from there.

IMO, strip the interior to save some weight and just go simple. Air, spark, and Fuel. adjust the timing and replace (broken) parts if needed. DOn't upgrade parts that in the long run you will change out again...like intake if you see a turbo kit in the future....Save up and do it right the first time.
