when the skyline becomes state legal >_<
Joking aside, probably never, the s14 sad to say sold patheticly in the US territories, thus they shut down US manufacturing of the 240sx in 1998. So its been 6 years and so far no hide or hair of a 240sx/silvia/s15 coming to america, and i believe a S16 will never exist...but that just my take on it

It would be nice to see a new 240sx but I seriously doubt it will ever happen

Prob with the uprising of drifting, Nissan will see the public's wanting for a new small, affordable RWD car. I mean, isn't the Niso tunes Z driftable straight out of the factory? Lol. Never kno, it could happen. Companies change according to the times. During teh gas crisis, all companies went economy status. Hell, they even made an economic Mustang back then. New times, new prospects, it's good to hope. And I'm hoping for a better developed KA dammit, lol.

hmm true, never really thought of it that way....but its just something about seeing a new 240sx that seems kinda off...knowing nissan, they would probably remake the 240sx and call it something else cause they are probably thinking the 240sx franchise in america is already tainted, but hey you never know, but for sure if there ever was a 240sx coming to america in the near future, you so know im on it...

Haha, maybe somethign different, much how the Z32 became the Z33, we could get somethig completely different from what a "240" is. A new line-up of small RWD cars. I mean, look at the old 200SX and then the 240SX. Two diff cars yet somewhat related. I'm gonna expect something like that. A change but with some relation to the 240.

not to be a destorier of hope or nething but the 240s ended up losing nissan money most of the time it was here in the states...i dont see any reason for them to come out with a new S series chassis...
even with the drifting craze....thats like maybe 10% of the entire population...and then with all those ppl that are into drifting...how many of them actually drift....prolly less then half...and of those ppl that actually drift...how many of them can afford to shell out 15k-20k for a stock drift car...

It's nice to dream though, isn't it? Most car companies aren't making anything sporty anymore. Sure, you have some here and there, but nothing like what the 240 or the FC was. Somethign affordable and RWD and fun to drive. Nissan seems to be the fun coming out with everything powerful and sporty. I mean, they have the 350Z, an Altima with a VQ in it, a Maxima with a VQ in it, the new SE-R Altima coming out, thier Titan. holy crap, they're a powerhouse in the performance section. It'd just be nice to know they'd come out with something to match the Miata, the soon to be discontinued MR-2, and Si.
