NEW 240sx's
How is it not in Nissan's best interest to bring back the S shassis? I have been all over looking for a 240 and can't find one locally. I stopped in the Nissan dealership and he says he gets 2-3 requests per week to try and find one. Why doesnt Nissan do something similar to what they did in Japan and bring back the S13 for a few years. Im sure it would sell.
there are rumors about a new datsun which would take its place anyhow. with the z, skyline, se-r i think nissan has it's head screwed on right... i mean if the car only sold like 2500 units the last year it was made & they were pretty expensive for what you got, it doesnt seem like it is in its best interest for nissan. I'm sure popularity has increased but for what the car would cost to design/renew/advertise and sell it would be out of the question. Look forward to any nissan-renaults that might come to the country in the near future
People want new 240s made but most of these people dont have the $16k-$20k the car would cost. **** for $20000 you can get a used 350z.
Seems to me that they just want more s-chasis cars to buy but most people would wait and buy them used years later so it might end up killed.

but for logistics, they'd have to kill the SE-R so it wouldnt compete with eachother. maybe do vehicle co-development with renault for a rwd platform and share suspension from the fm. expand other car lineups into rwd (teana, bluebird) and cut others (tida, moco anyone?). i know making a car costs millions and they actually dont get returns until the 2nd year of vehicle sales. yeah, definatley wishful thinking but tell me im not the only one who sees some silvia in this...
foria concept, tokyo '05
"With the Z, we brought back a Nissan sports car legend. But the Z is only one example of our passion for driving pleasure. The Foria sports coupe is a concept that delivers classic elegance without being retro in its design. The center-opening doors provide a graceful entry to the Foria. Inside, the interior fuses elegance and athleticism with sophistication… from the instrument panel inspired by vintage analog cameras… to the warm, hand-stitched leather seats.
Compact coupe concept founded on performance, quality, and elegance.
Packaged as a rear-drive layout compact 2+2 coupe configuration
The exterior styling combines power and elegance. Also features center opening B-pillarless doors for easy access to the rear seats
Interior styling reinforces the car's dynamic performance, with accent on elegance, featuring mechanical instruments and crafted interior material"

they dont make as much money on them as there new cars, thats why they dont sell used 240s at any nissan dealerships because they will attract to much attention and then the cars they actaully make money on wont get bought
