I don't see that as a bad idea at all, the only thing is the domain name seems a little much. Generally, the simpler the url the easier it is for people to remember, and spread by word of mouth. If thats the content you want, I would suggest a name like rwdnissan.com (which is already taken) or something of that nature. Simple but to the point. That is only my opinion however and in the end you guys have the final say.

FYI S-chassis is the name of the chassis for all 240sx's in America and all Silvias and 180 & 200sx's overseas. Think S13 and S14.

Well why not just follow Nissans advertising then...
Call it www.shiftRWD.net....

It's simple and just as catchy as the advertisement. So simple any Nissan tuner/builder can understand...

I haven't forgotten, and the stanza guy's know how to pimp out the KAe's when it comes to making power. Less degradation to front wheels there smokin' almost every honda big block swap integra, and CRX in the 1/4 mile....

The poll ends on the 27th of the month. Once the domain name is purchased it can take up to 72 hours for the domain name to resolve, but usually takes about 30-60 minutes. After that I can load up forum software and create the forums. It will basically be a shell until we get graphics and layouts made. We also need to look into some sort of homepage, so I need to find someone that could design that for us.

we can still post and everything with out the graphics and stuff right or does it all have to be finished at once? we will have to submit some logos, and have another poll on what we want out logo to look like. So is all the stickies and stuff going to be gone? or can you somehow transfer that over? i guess we could just copy and paste them up or rewrite them all nice and purtty.

We will still be able to post normally, it'll just look bland. I have already copied most of the important stickies and have them saved, so when the new sites up, I can just paste them into new threads (giving credit to the original author of course). As far as a logo, I will start a little design a logo contest. I may try to get several logos and have a new one show up for every page load/reload.
