Nissan Comercials Wierd!

Ok i have noticed this for a while now...

Listen to any Nissan Comercial were they are showing a new car of course....Make sure you turn up the volume on your tv.
when they are driving one of the cars, you can hear this MISLEADING Turbo sound as they accerate. Maxima, Altima, Xterra you name it, its there. i thought i was going crazy when i heard it then found out the car wasnt turbo.

its like nissan is trying to make there cars sound more apealing to the " tuner "

Next time a Nissan commercial comes on, turn it up and listen to the " performance "

Jay

Drugs are fun, definately **** with your head though. On to more relevant topics, i noticed the turbo sounds too. I laughed pretty hard the first time i noticed it. Car commercials in general are retarded for a couple reasons. They almost always show somone tearing it up on the back roads or something and then ALWAYS say professional driver closed course do not attempt, so you're telling me the car you're advertising isn't capable of that huh? The other thing they do, and this pisses me off to no end, is show FWD cars oversteering and powersliding....wtf.

BTW before someone says something stupid I know they put the do not attempt in so people can't sue them when they crash.

They arent' telling you that the car isn't capable of that...it's obvious that the car is capable of that. they just don't want to hear about someone trying that on a public road, killing some people..I have heard that Nissan might bring a turbocharged car over but it isn't going to be the Skyline....the QR25 is turbocharged in Japan so maybe.....oh yeah it might be in the hatch concept that has been seen in some magazines. Next time the Nissan Rep. is at the dealership I'll ask him about what he has heard anything else....

You are so right. I hear it too! Stupid Nissan. To be very honest with you, i'm very anti-Nissan. I sorta inherited my Kouki from my wife so I may as well have fun with it since it's paid off and super clean.

OMG! IT'S TRUE!!!

Its ture! Its true!

When commercials come on tv, I usually go back to surfing the internet on my laptop...On TV I heard the sound of an engine revving up then PSSSHHH and shift, I was like WTF? I turn around and its a Nissan Maxima commercial.

Its the one where the guy asks his date, "Is this your car?" and he puts his hand on the car and he starts getting all these images of the car driving hard. Then the lady removes his hand from the car and says, "Sorry, not on the first date".

I read this thread yesterday, I had to post here as soon as I saw it. I'm gonna sue for false advertisment. PSSSSH!
