Smile Nissan: new 200SX/240SX/Silvia on the way?

Not that I'm particularly fond of the concept design pictured, but a new 2**SX or Silvia would be fantastic!

Well, it is just a concept. Mostly, concepts don't see the light of day and they tend to get toned down. So, hopefully they'll keep with the 240's purpose and platform but make it look more beastly!

I kinda like the headlights but the body definitely needs to be more menacing or beastly like you said.

Did 7 people really just take this thread seriously? How did the second poster not flame this 6 feet into the ground?

its draws inspiration from the first silvia in the 60s. whether or not nissan decides to build an entry level rwd car is still up in the air, but they have shown concepts that do show interest to return to this market segment. the project could be shelved or well on its way in development for all we know.

i know its old, but it doesnt neccessarily mean nissan has canned the project. theyve been busy with their resources for the past 2-3 years (new sentra, g35, altima, x-terra, gtr). but nothing is official at this point. maybe theyll unveil another concept at new york...
