Hey they totalled forgot to add the racing stripe and the huge hood scoop for the ram air. Not to mention the lights in the windshield washers, a massive coffee can for a muffler.

Did a project like this last year. Only we took a 13yr old Mazda Familia non-turbo and dropped a donated turbo AWD drivetrain into it. Then totalled gutted the interior to include the dash, the heater, the fan system, the gauge cluster, rear seats and everything else. Then we got some blown out rear struts and cut a couple coils out of the springs and used good struts in the front with cut springs. Then added a spare Evo3 FMIC, HKS BOV, IHI turbo out of a old Legacy turbo and a friends AVCR. Took it to the races and smoked the Honda crowd every damn night. Due to our lack of giving a damn about the car on the 5K RPM clutch dumps we ended up beating everything from WRX's, Evo's, ITR's, CTR's, CA18DET Silvia's, SR20DET S13's, a S14, some Chasers, MR2's, Soarers and damn near anything out there. It was fun to get out of the car and rub it in that their $24K car just lost to a $500 car with two people in it.
