Ok first off I am a N00b To the Nissan world and I just wanna take all in that I can.. I know mostly about Hondas and such...

Now there prolly allready has a thread about this but...

What is the best oil that should be used for the raceing situations or High RPM situations that I can insure that my engine is going to be safe and is going to be protected to the fullest amount?

Ill need alot of pointer on the Nissan world and tonite I am starting to read the threads one by one and hopefully I can learn alot. Ha..

Thank you for your time and paitence,
Darrin M Clear.

Yea Amsoil is good too i think their series 2000 is one of the best oil to use for high performance engine, Also when using purple royal be sure to change oil often sinse royal purple tend to not last longer then 3000miles, i found that info from a few googleing when i wanted to find out a nice synthethic to use ;p. Oh and RP is pretty pricey.... especially for its drain interval.

Right now im just gonna stick with petro Castrol GTX and auto-rx to clean out my 100k mile engine. ;p

Yeah I've heard of Amsoil but I've never seen it advertised or known many people who used it so I figured I'd stay off it since I know nothing about it, all I know is that I've heard it's a competitor for royal purple.

Amsoil isnt available to any retailer store, it can only be purchased off their site, also i believe you have to register as a member to purchase also. But yea truthfully i think your best bet with syntetic on a normal non sport tune engine would be Mobil 1 syn. Royal Purple is too expensive and you would see the same protection to your engine if you used it or with mobil 1 syn.
