Is this possible?

Is it possible to convert a 1990 240sx to a 1990 skyline... and I dont just mean engine, I mean everything. I'm a new to this stuff so forgive me if this is an obvious question. but this is my dream project. also if it is possible can u point me in the places to get all the stuff for it, like body (especially tail lights) and engine stuff

With tons of cash anything is possable. But why not save your self some money and buy the real deal? Theres an Importer in Vancouver B.C that sells them for about $12,000 CND.

does this place have a website? and I still think it would be cool to convert a 240 as a project so any other info would be great?

Putting syline taillights on a 240 wont make it a skyline, i would focus on the engine first then body then do some taillights if necessary. They don't make skyline taillights for a 240, you will have to buy some (ebay) then customize your 240. is it a coupe? hopefully it is... lol

you cant just import a skyline from canada to the U.S it won't work, they'll impound your car, crush it and you'll be out all that money

let's not even get on teh mustang topic, its really not worth the server space and typing effort. as for 240>>skyline conversions, i advise against. why? because im sure there are people out on the road like me who just flatly have no respect for those who turn one car into another that it isnt. yeah its a challenge, but there are better challenges to attempt than knowing how many cans of cheez whiz you can down in 5 minutes... i digress. please, dont do the conversion, its just another sad frankenstein case.

saddest conversion kit i saw: miata >> S2000. cost: $29K.

yeah or you could sell the miata and buy the S2000 for the price of the kit. IMO, this kind of mod is rice, not nice. $0.02.

yeah, I totally agree with Darren ^ ... I mean, if you want to convert your car that bad, just take the time, and effort to import one yourself... why make a 240 into a skyline? that's pretty much ruining the name. I would say, silvia conversion maybe, because that's the way the car was originally... I don't know, I love 240's and the way they look. especially the s13's ...
