i hate the srt-4 too... just a punk *** neon... its like that one kid in school who's tired of gettin his *** whipped all the time, so he works out for a while and thinks he's big and bad, and yet still gets his *** whipped.

 

SRT-4 is a great car. There's no need to hate it just because it's not a 240.

no i dont hate it cuz its not a 240... hell i love my legend...more than my 240 right now. I hate the srt-4 cuz ppl are like "its not a neon, its an srt-4!" ... yeah like the chevy cobalt isnt a crapalier, or like a gmc truck isnt the same as a chevy truck. Same roots, new attitude... thats all. Now if they made the srt-4 from some other platform i could respect it... but to me its still just a beefed up neon.

It's not a Neon. SRT-4 is its own model.... Chrysler probably did it that way to avoid some epa penalty on the whole neon lineup.

Some of the most amazing cars ever made have been hopped-up versions of lesser cars.

Chrysler GLHS is a beast based on the dodge Omni. VW GTi probably launched the sport compact scene in the US. GMC Syclone / Typhoon (S10 pickup / chevy Blazer) were faster than a 911 turbo when in production. Heck, who would think the Buick Regal would lead to the Grand National / GNX?

they are a nice car... i have to admit.. quick and luxurious.. kinda like my legend was back in the day... waaaaayyyy back in the day... now its just quick.

 

Whether its a neon or not...which it is, theres still no faster car on the market for 20grand, even a lot cheaper if u know how to haggle, my friend got a brand new '04 for 15,000 and the redline and cobalt cant even compare to the performance...they can easily run 12's with only a couple grand...The point is the NEON srt-4 is a badass car for the money and u dont have to be jealous cuz you had to look at its *** end when yall were racing...

 

was at a party on main, this old guy and drunk lady comin back from a club are goin down the street and the drunk ladys drives about 5 miles an hour into my rear driver side. just a lil dent and fixable and then she hops a curb and pops her tire and warps the wheel....lol anyway the guy is in the driveway and is fixin it and he lives down the street, so he keeps goin back and forth from his house and back gettin the tools and ****, and everytime he peels off and is talkin about how bad *** he is at driving.... so finally i tell my friends peace out (im parked by the mailback facing north and i need to go south) anyway i get in my car rev it up to about 4-1/2 RPMS pop it into 1st do a str8 180 go down the street do a 360 drift come back do another 180 drift and park infront of the house, btw it was sprinkling, the old man just has his jaw open and my friends are just like " holy **** hahahah "

 

my best moment was last night when a kid with a 97 gs-t eclipse was talking alot of trash and i got sick of it and said buddy you me and 50 bucks on the line lets go him being the *** that he was said lets do it and i beat him by a car and a half now i have paint for my car

well this weekend was cool for me.

Friday

went to the track ( drag, got bored) I wanted to test out my latest motor and poorman mods. I ran about 10 time.

fastest time for the night was 15 9.007 ( stock 240's average a 16 2 car and driver mag) with a reaction of .507 ( i was into drag befor drifting and autoX)

i beat a 99 prelude, zx3 focus, and 2003 eclipes by at least 4 to 5 cars a peice.
i think it was mainly driver error.

and my god. There was two sr20 powered 240's there which made me feel kinda bad even though i dont really care for a SR. One of them had a s13 sr and there was a 95 240 there with a s15 black top SR(hhhmmmmhmhm) well some how we ran each other, i just knew even with my drivign skill that this guy was going to murder me completely. WEll not so. I beat him off the line and all the way to the 1/8 mile point and then he passed me running a 14.4 or something like that. ( he is more into drifting like me anyway)

and later that night i beat a sc300 it was a cool night for the stock KA

Saturday.

well after the cops busted up a chill spot. some how i ended up in between a GSR integra with about $1500-2000 worth of work and 2 step enabled and a 92 integra with intake and exhuast. Well when the light went green. I was gone by a car and a half while they were still spinning. In the quatermile i would have beaten the GSR but the street was very long and he caught up to me ( didnt pass me) after about the qutermile mark.

Yup cool weekend.
