dude, the clutch in my legend has been out for 2 weeks... i still havent replaced it... put 200 miles on it. I tell you what, that clutch is a soldier.

 

The best moment would definitely be driving home from the dealership. The whole time we were talking to the salesman, i was grinning from ear to ear

 

my best 240 moment so far.....hearing it run for the first time last saturday night and actually getting to drive it instead of looking at it up on jackstands......

it was a beautiful thing.

original owner broke the lower timing chain. I got the car in not running condition and replaced with another kade motor. now I drive it almost everyday, and I love it.

 

hey i wanna know something... since my 240 is in the gutted sate of preparation, how quick is the 240? Ive never driven mine hard cuz all the tme ive had it theres always been some reason i couldnt drive it very far. Its getting ready to paint and i want to know whats in store.

so it lacks... quite a bit... in stock form. Well. now that i know where it stands, i know where i want to go with it. I will say though, that it IS a lot more sluggish than my acura. Rest in peace... well in about 4 months, once my nissan gets a new paintjob.

 

what color are you going with for the 240?

also, atleast you have a second car with some ***** to it...my second car is an 86 chevy celebrity-light blue, more rust than paint. 1 side mirror, no rear view mirror, the other mirror is tin foil to fool the police! paid $800 for her then destoyed it to were it is now.

 

omg i feel bad for you...but its aight, i gave my freind a car we had sitting around forever...a 1988 olds cutlass ciera... with less than half of the original paint, a cut-open catalytic converter (it was clogged), lawnmower-like exhaust, and about as much horsepower as a lawnmower...he wrecked his other car.. ha ha. tard

when i was doing about a buck20 on the hutch in upstate ny
i was coming back from court to pay off tickets and score some points on my license...
i was happy that the judge let me off easy so i was flooring it all over the place... ( yea im stupid )

i was hopping 3 lanes ... doing stupid shiet... and i exit out ... going to my friends house to have dinner...

when a cop pulls me over....

now... note... i came back from court... paying for speeding and * modified muffler *

i get pulled over... thinking to myself that shiet i got caught again!!! and on the same highway too.... so i pull out my docs and i ask what's the problem...

he says * you have a modified muffler* ....

i was like.... WTF? ... i mean i was doing 120+ and hopping lanes like an idiot and you pull me over for this? i was actually happy....


now why is this the best moment? ... becuase the cop who pulled me over was the SAME cop that pulled me over the speeding and the muffler BEFORE.... this guy .... don't you love him? hahahahaha it was very memorable...

 

I got a great one, and it just happend a couple of days ago.

So I'm slowing up to this stop light, but this stop light isn't your ordinary stop light, this one is mad uphill. Well I'm not a very experienced manual driver, seeing as how I'm only 16 and ive only had my 240 for a few days now. Anyway, Im a few feet behind the stop light so I decide to pull up to the line. I press in the clutch and start rolling backward (curse those hills!) so I panick and give it too much gas so it revs like crazy. I get to the line and I look around me, a brand new Corvette to my left and a BMW M3 behind me. I look over at the corvette guy and he looks back at me, but i look away quickly cause im pretty sure i just challenged him to race. Well the light turns green and the corvette guy takes off, and me pressing the clutch in again, starts rolling backward toward the BMW, I panick (ya i know, again) and let out the clutch too fast and my tires spin out. Well I start up the hill and the M3 guy gets over to my left and launches past me and as I look over at him hes giving me a dissapproving glare.

Whoops.

P.S. keep in mind my 240 is bone stock, so i dont have a whole lot to flaunt. lol.

My first drift...

going around a 90 degree left turn at about 45, and I turn the steering wheel to the left and let my rear end come out. I look in my rearview mirror and see smoke from my tires.

The best time ever so far.

I have around 200hp

I have cam, full exhaust system headers back, cam gear, shift comfort wire unplugged*, and other stuff.

All carpet, and most panels out, and rear seat out, and other stuff out, I dropped about 50+ pounds.

I have a auto tranny, until the sr20det swap.

*if you don't know, it lets the car shift hard, it makes my head move backwards and hit the seat.

I bought the car this way, I havn't installed any mods myself.

1/8mi @ 15.49sec. @ 91mph (before several mods)
