power steering

ok so im pretty new here still an i am jus starting to drift, iv been into it for a long time but never had the car to do it, neway! i was wondering if i would be better off leaving the power steering in or gettin rid of it if i was to start drifting

it would make more sense to me to take it out but id luv some feedback on it
thanks!

if the car is your daily driver dont do it, because you will be fine with it at first but later on you will wish you left it in.

its all personal preference I hate PS and i have been drifting for along time without it.

you can always reverse it

also

unless you get an PS delete kit and or an electric pump.. you will have to leave the PS pump in place as a tensioner.

Id say leave it in until you get the hang of steering, then if you really want to, take it out and see how you like it.

Personally, driving a car without power steering is a bit tough. But like Bigg just said, its all preference. Not to mention the fact that he has forearms bigger than my calves...

And you actually get more feedback without power steering. Good luck!

I think it would save a lot of time and headache if you went with a PS delete kit, makes the job easier and less worrysome about finding this and that.

Maybe Phase2? Not sure really, I kept my PS since it was a daily and I had two other cars that had no PS (civic hatch with its awesomeness and a Z32 that had a blown PS pump... that was major awesome gayness to drive)

Bigg might know where to pick one up.

you cant just get a smaller belt.. becuase you would have no way to tighten in.the only way you could get a smaller belt on would be to pry it on lol.. that's no good lol.

there were a few people who fabbed them up... on various forums but no one bought them... the majority just get an electrical pump.
