Probably a dumb question, but im asking anyways

Alright, I might get flamed for this, I might not, either way is fine by me lol. Alright, so a couple nights ago, I am watching The Fast and the Furious *start flaming....now*, it was on TV, and I hadn't seen it for a long time, and I noticed that when Paul Walker (gasp) is in his Eclipse, when he shifts it makes a clicking noise. What is this? Is this some riced out bs, or is it a legit mod/aftermarket part? Like it clicks into the gear or something. I dont know. I was just wondering, thought it was kind of cool.

Worn out synchos from racing with too much NAWS. That's always the first to go, next thing you know, you're replacing the piston rings you fried.

But in all seriousness, in the movie I'm sure it's a sound effect, but if you slam the shifter too hard it will make that kinda noise. Add in a short shifter and adjusted cables and you'll probably get a noise like that.

Hell, I don't know, why am I participating in this thread?

You have to pretty much accept that everything about that movie is completely false.

Especially the double clutching part.

i saw it a few times...thought it was better then the 2nd one...and noticed he shifts 1-2, 2-3, 3-4, 4-5, 5-6, 6-7...so maybe hes suppoed to have some crazy dog-mission...or sequential something...

hahaha, yea I noticed the shifting mess up too, he shifts gears like 6 or 7 times in one scene...lol. And I totally realize that pretty much everything in that movie is false and all, I was just wonderin about the noise thing. I remember when I was like 15 though....that movie was pure sex.

lol yeah, and I love how when hes drag racing (nevermind the race took 3 1/2 minutes) but i love how the floor board un-bolts and falls off!

All that NOS must make the floors fall off.

Seriously though, certain shot-shifters make clicking noises. However, none of them sound as uber as the one in the movie, cause its teh fake lol

I know wtf...what does NOS have to do with a floor board coming off? hahaha...How did they think of that? "OH man, I know, we will make the floor fall off since he has so much NOS!" ...............................................

yeah in that movie that chick (idk her name) has a hot kouki minus the rice-cals ne wayz yeah u might want to tune the nos timers down so you dont unload in second "i told u it was second" ..."shut up" and about the floorboard yeah ok so you install your diamond cut aluminum floor then all the sudden theres nothing between you and the road but just that??? kinda makes me wonder how hardcore he is in weight savings haha jk jk
