Sounds good, let me know how that goes. I'm almost positive you won't have any problems.

So far I've went 40 or 50 miles with it off . My gas is goin kinda quick , but II've been runnin rich lately too , so I'm not sure whether I can say it's the missing canister or not yet . Plus , I haven't exactly been goin easy on the car , but so far no leaks and no real performance difference .

Ok , it's runnin fantastic . Still drinkin gas , but as i said before , not sure what's causing that , but I think it was doin it before I pulled out the charcoal canister . So I would say if you want to remove it , do it .

Well, if you live in a state with strict emissions inspections (such as NJ), you probably won't pass inspection.

If you have an S14, with OBDII diagnostics, you're going to get codes and a check engine light.

Good point . I did mine on my S13 and no CEL and don't believe I've thrown any codes . As far as emissions goes I live in Louisiana and I don't think we're too bad on emissions , but if we are I know a guy that'll pass ANYONE for 50 bucks .

did you tap the hardline that comes out of the bottom of the canister too??? I'm thinking about removing it... the hardline crosses the whole firewall and then becomes a regular rubber vaccum line, can I remove the hardline and then tap the rubber line???
