MOT > ministry of transportation test

a compulsory annual test of older motor vehicles for safety and exhaust fumes.

yeah we have a thing called state inspection. which is required every year. it checks for all that.

speed cameras. it depends on the city. if its a big one, yeah they might have couple. if its a town. i doubt it.

in Charlotte, NC:
yes, starting this year, they installed speed cameras at couple stop lights. and starting last month, they got these 2 undercover police vans, yes minivans, riding through the city strictly by the speed limit. and if some one passes them, (obiviosly the car which passed was speeding) they take pictures and mail a ticket.

arrrrr.

We mostly have red light cameras.

Awesome... ?

..they are a pain in the rear, they are very common now. Plus we have the hidden vans etc. Quite funny really as people complained that the cameras were to hidden and grey so it was not fair... so the police painted them with hazard stripes (black and yellow stripes) so they are easy to spot.....Mad!! Like a game or something. We also have a new camera which stops people from surfing (slowing down for cameras and then speeding up after) they can track you over miles so they know exactly what you are doing

I heard of these vans from my brother's VVTi site. That's just wrong. If I ever see one in my area...I wanna blow the doors off these vans doing a 130mph...no plates of course.

they give me a photo of my car thru the mail....I'll give them a photo of $$$ back at them.LoL

I talked to my mommy about the red light cameras..I just learned there was one on the corner..but I ran on a red a couple of times(I couldnt stop lol) anyway.. I never got crap in the mail...either that..or they just dont really care lol..anyway..The hurricane was 2-3 hours north of where I am so we're safe

edit:the speed limit on the freeway here is like 65-70 mph depending where..on the normal everday roads they're around 45..
