as a race car (for off road use only) or show vehicle you can. but def not for street use. paper work varies state to state so check with your dmv.

ok, you can drive a nissan silvia on the track and maybe your backyard. congratulations.

call your local dmv. they probably know what you can and cannot do as far as registering it.

wow if you had the means to import your own silvia you probably wouldn't be worried about our opinion. BTW yur probably not the first one to think of this or try it. (theres probably someone out there that can tell you it dosen't work from first hand expierience).

I know a guy that got a r32 skyline from japan and imported it and DMV wanted $12,000 for the fees to register it in the U.S. Like ohh my gosh, it is like so not worth it....totally.

if i had the money to import a r32, i wouldnt give to shiznits about how much it costs to register it. i would just do it. i think its a sexy car and way better than having a porche that costs equivallent. jmo.

i just wanted to mention. i live in new jersey, and work in a tiny town called point pleasant beach on the jersey shore. i saw driving around here an r33 gts t with an exhaust and black meshies. the thing sounded awsome. the moral is, im sure its possible, just costs a **** ton like everything else worth doing.

I had a brilliant idea one time to import a 180sx type-x to the states "legally." My plan was to get one that was black, import it through someone shady, pop the vin plates off of my car, and swap em to the 180, and then change the paperwork to "rebuilt" or whatever you have to do when converting to rhd.
