Question about RHD

Im thinking of doing a RHD conversions to my 95 SE. I was thinking of getting the dash and the firwall for the conversion. My question now is... is that all I need for the conversion? Not only that, but how does the Japanese manual transmission shift? is it:

1 3 5
| | |
2 4 6

(like the US transmissions?) or

5 3 1
| | |
R 4 2

Because before I go changing it to RHD, I want it to match the real shifting procedure as the offical JDM and if it is like the second shifting example, how would I change the current transmission to do that? Is that even possible or do I need to buy a genuine Japanese RWD RHD transmission? can anyone help me out here?

is that so?

so this is how it goes? right?

Japan Spec = (below)

Passenger 1-3-5 Driver
Passenger |-|-| Driver
Passenger 2-4-R Driver

US Spec = (below)

Driver 1-3-5 Passenger
Driver |-|-| Passenger
Driver 2-4-R Passenger

So when I do the conversion, I'll be shifting from the (outside -> in) rather than (inside->out).
To me that just seems weird in all the other contries where the cars are RHD that they shift the same as the US. I always thought that the RHD transmission ran like this...

Passenger 5-3-1 Driver
Passenger |-|-| Driver
Passenger R-4-2 Driver

Guess I was always wrong huh? LOL!

everything is the same, except you use your left hand to shift. That's it.

i personaly know a guy that converted is acura integra for show and he drives it almost daily. he did his own welding and just got a jdm rack and pinion and the dash from a jdm type r. If u have money and time it can be done. if u trying to cut corners with it and save money. dont do it.

pulling out of blind corners is a pain in the *** as well... it takes a lot of work but the best way to get the parts is to buy a whole clip... it will come with everything you need...

what i would suggest is that you cut the firewall from the clip you bought ... it has all of the correct holes for the heater and ac if you plan on using it... as well as the placement for the column clutch master cylinder and brake booster...then graft that to your car... it sounds like a lot of work but i have done the work in several civics and integras in cali when i lived there... the welding of the firewall is pretty easy as long as you know how to weld... if not any shop can do the cutting and welding...

I remember seeing a car on sale on Ebay that was a RHD conversion. Some guy in Florida was selling his S14. It was converted and I think it still had a KA in it. Its kinda weird but I guess its more legal and possibly easier than importing a car from Nippon...

Since everyone so far has been telling me to just get the whole front clip of another 240, can anyone tell me where you can order things like that? I can do the work myself, but where can i find the whole front clip? Anyone know any sites or places to order?
