corbeau and bride seats seem to hold me the best. My friend has a no name brand racing seat and it barely holds me campared to my bride seat.

Those are trash IMO

Differences between no name crap and brand name stuff
1)Brand name seats usually use higher quality materials(Foam, leather, brackets etc.)
2)No name brand brakets/sliders usually do not install right.
3)No name brands usually do not have any approved safety rating, most...if not all name brand do. You don't want to lose your life because the seat either crushed or ripped it self from the brackets and sent you flying(yes that has happened)

i don't have racing seats, but i think comfort is one. i think my friend said he bought off brand and they were the most uncomfortable things ever.

Beware, they may say they are mazdaspeed or nismo seats, but infact they are only no name brand seats with a patch on it.

I have the Corbeau Carerras. They are fully reclinable. I love them. they are a little tight on my hips but very comfortable. And i believe they sell them in a regular and a wide depending on your frame size. But overall they keep me in my place. Not all over the door and center console.

to be honest, i couldnt tell you. so naturally i am going to say the Corbeau's. the only bride seat i have sat in was in a drag car and they were nonreclinable. If you are really looking for a comfortable seat. the most comfortable seat i have ever sat in are the JDM Recaro's. Definatly a nice all around seat.

I wouldn't get a leather seat personally because when i was driving a 350z for a while, i slide around when i took corners sharp, most comfortable seats i've been in was when i drove an STI for while, these *****en Recaro's, but ya, i think the extra couple hundred dollars is worth it, corbeau, bride, sparco, recaro pretty much make the good ones... i have a magazine that rated a bunch of seats, think it was in a modified issue, ill try n dig it out...

Careful when purchasing racing seats. Some of em can really squeez ur "boys" off. I swear, they're like super bucket seats that would just hold u in like hell. Autobac has some seats u can sit in, but i wouldn't buy anything from em.
BTW, what do u guys think about Momo? I dont see alot of feedback about them.

The best seat for you isn't in the brand, it's the fit. Try sitting in one for about 30 minutes straight and see if you feel comfortable, or if your legs are numb, or your nuts feel like there's no blood pressure going to them. Hell I've sat in a set of Tenzo's before and they weren't that bad.

Where brand DOES matter is development, durability, and quality. This is why Bride, Recaro, Sparco, and Momo seats command a higher price. These seats are designed to fit a specific purpose. The copy cheap "racing seats" you find alot on Ebay were made to look like a racing seat. I'd be willing to bet that those seats have never been tested as far as performance issues go. Also, it's funny how they sell "Nismo" seats, when as far as I've known Nismo doesn't make seats... that look exactly like "Mugen Style" seats... that look exactly like "Madzaspeed-Style" seats... that sell for $250 a pair on Ebay.

You;ll be sitting in it for as long as you own the car, why not get something worth your hard-earned $?
