well supposedly mounting the RB shouldnt be too hard since its an RB20. all i would need is the custom mounts and it shouldnt be a hassle. but im still wondering if my catback exhaust will fit it the way it is rite now...and for Ayuaddict, im going RB just becuase im trying to save a few bucks also of the fact that its something different. too many SR's out there although i wouldnt mind having one. and of course, the DAM WIFE is a ***** about everything so what can you say?..nah mean?

Well the reason I asked about the mounts is I know with some mount kits you have to purchase a certain downpipe.

i know a few people with rb20s... they reused their exhs after swapping. not sure what mounts. I would take an rb20 over a redtop any day

Reviving this thread so I don't have to clog up the boards with another thread, anyone know any vendors that sell 3" catback systems for the S13? I'm in the same situation as the OP pretty much except I just need to buy a 3" catback system. Links would help a ton, thanks guys.

so an exhaust bought for a ka would bolt up to an sr20 if one was swapped in later on? Curious because my 240 doesnt have a muffler but I plan to do the famous redtop swap in a year or so

ah good to know! Cause not having a muffler is keeping me from driving the car....(along w/ the timing being off and a slowly dying tranny lol)
