btw the turbo in this price was a gt35

Be resourcefull, go to a head shop to get the head done.
Go to a shop that does rebuilt and forged.
Then put it together yourself , save mad bread.
PHAT-KAT isn't the only shop that sells highly modified turbo systems either........
There is also nizzx and enjuka racing........
400-450? i think a 26 can handle 450 on stock internals but it costs a lot to swap it in.
the KA will cost a load to get it to 400-450.
maybe rb25 is your best bet but 5 grand ain't going to cut it unless the only thing youre paying someoe else to do is wire it up correctly. right now there's a guy selling a 425 hp sr20 powered s13 on
http://www.zilvia.net/f/showthread.php?t=82975
his mods costed around 12-15K and he's still not done. to tell you the truth 450 hp is a money pit. it takes a lot of maintenance.
BTW this isn't going to be a daily driver is it?

But after about 300CHP the 240sx isn't very streetable.
You would have to invest into thicker sway bars "front and rear", thicker bushings in propylien, and a "non adjustable" coilover kit, with pillowball.
G forces exceeding the limitations of a 2700LB car can become quite dangerous on your average freeway or street.
Would you plan to de tune or lower your boost if you weren't going to use it for the track?
I ask this because many people plan on a super dupe like 600CHP car, yet they can't drive it on the street that is just to much power to the throttle............
Hey Big V, can you give a few examples (i.e. brands or where to purchase) these thicker sway bars? I'm assuming you're referring to thicker-than-ur-avg JDM company sway bars for the 240...? Would these things be a little overkill though on a 240 making less than 300 chp?

All you need to do is rent a pipe bender, a hydraulic clamp to "pinch the ends", and buy some 3/4" or 1" comercial grade electricians EMT galvanized pipe, if you want to go really thick you can use 3/4 gas pipe galvanized.
As long as you have the original sway bars fabbing the thicker bars would be pretty easy to follow the pattern......
Then all you have to do is shave the brackets down with a dremel to fit the new pipe and bushings........
But if you don't like fabbing www.projectnissan.com sells a few brand names tanabe, cusco, and nismo........
I have seen people fab the old z31, and 280z sway bars they fit into place very easily with minor shaving.........
For the s13 of course......

I almost forgot rear traction rods, tension rods, and thicker tie rods those are defenitely needed for extreme lateral G's.
Over 300CHP you will also need to upgrade to the z31 ABS 5lug, and brake calipers for the s13, and z32 ABS 5lug, and brake calipers for the s14...........

I guess "Stillen" never spoke to the folk at JUN, HKS, Top Secret...etc
But thats right i suppose STILLEN is the unquestionable holy master of all that exsists, thus we must listen to what he says. Assuming he said this, yet he carries parts for the 2jz for sale on his site. Hmmm i call BS Flag on that
