Removing paint from plastic parts on car?
What kind of sand paper are you using? (what grit) What do you want to do with the car? Are you painting it over?
If its just the clear coat your trying to take off, wet sand it.
Need a lil more info before i can actually help you out...

Actually I'd like to know how to sand off paint down to the bare metal. I just got a 240 and would like to repaint it, but I don't want to paint over the old paint. I want to paint it like a fresh coat. So could anyone help out? What tools do I need and how do I do it.
I know, search, but it's late, I'm tired, and I want an answer lol.

Well most body panels will be replaced eventually with body kit and cf. I was just wondering about interior and engine bay and roof and anywhere that's not gonna get replaced? What method is best?

HEy guys, sorry for the late reply.
All i want to do is paint the car primer black so all im wanting to do is sand the car down straight to the metal or primer and just spray it down with primer. The paint right now is just an ugly burgundy.
Whats this 320grit you guys are speaking of?
