resurfacing flywheel

resurfacing flywheel

i have sr now and before it goes in, how will i know if it needs to be resurfaced?? we just took a sand blower and roughed it up a little and forgot to use that lock tite stuff on the bolts?? did i miss stuff to do?

If you could take the bolts out and apply some locktite blue. I know there is also red. The red is permanent.

I would resurface the face of the flywheel if there were any pitting on it.

Other than that when I did my clutch all we did was give it a good once or twice over to give the new clutch a clean surface to break itself onto.

there was some rust and stuff, and its a new clutch so iam guessing i should just get it resurfaced??

Yeah you want that surface to be clean. No rust at the very least.
