Rust spots, where to look

Im going to look at a 93 hatch tommrow and i was wondering where are the spots i should really check for rust. I know to look on the frame rails, shock towers, and wheel wells, but are there any other places that i should really look closely at? Thanks

Everywhere!

Fenders, underboady, around the hatch...everywhere.

Make sure it's nice and bright when you look at it and take your time.

Check the 'frame' rails on either side of the car right at the fenderwell where they curve upwards in the direction of the front of the car. Rust likes to eat right through those.

Check the very bottom of the radiator core support, also. All the water likes to sit on top of that after a rainstorm or driving with a lot of water on the ground. Same with the back of the bumper in the rear. The tow hooks and where they mount like to rust as well.

If it has a sunroof, check all around that, on the inside and out and definitely on the hatch like others said.

Also remember to check the rear subframe and the mounts where it bolts to the unibody.
