alright i was driving around today and my car was making the loud fan noise after it got warm and the belts started to slip after 5k so right away im thinking the fan clutch just went out but i just replaced it 6 months ago so i wouldnt think that it would go out so fast. so i let my car sit for a couple of hours i went out to mess with the fan blade and sure enough it had alot of resistance to it but after a while of messing around with it it went back to normal and my car drove fine? should i just replace the fan clutch again or what?

second question is about tein flex

i have had tein flex for about 4 months now and i love them but when you push on the back of the car they feel soft just alittle bit stiffer then stock, is this normal? i have been trying to take it easy with the new coilovers intill i have more time to put them to use so i dont think they are blown or anything so are they suppose to be like that? the fronts are real stiff and dont budge at all?

and last qeustion im in the process of moving to new mexico from st louis and my car is lowered about 3 inchs and i was just wondering if it was safe to travel across the long distance that low or should i raise it up before i leave?

did you replace the clutch with a new or used one. That and the fan is naturally loud anyways.

 

i bought it new, i know the fan sounds loud but its been sounding louder ever since this clutch thing started happening, but when the engine is off if you wiggle the fan alittle bit it lossens up and runs fine for alittle while then goes back to being loud and belt slip after 5k?

 

well the belt most definately has just a little too much play in it. As far as the fan clutch, being able to turn it and stuff is pretty normal. wait a couple weeks and see how it goes.
