Hey, i was searching and around and i thought this would make for a good topic. Opions and stats are welcomed. Also, lets say that you coulf get both for the same price, or only a little more for a 95-96 s14. Oh yeah make it s13 vs. s14b (95-96). Please use all scenirios too (i.e. drag, drift auto-x, etc.) And i guess we will just go from there...

 

Thats not really a good question to ask. Cuz almost everyone who drives an S13 will say get that and everyone who drives an S14 will say to get that. Its all about personal prefference. They are both great cars you decide which one you want.




But in hindsight, I wish I would have saved some cash and got the S13 instead, but I love the S14 and I was more familiar with it at the time of purchase.

 

my personal preference would be the S13, primarily because i like the hatch! i dunno, i think the (S13) coupe is fly and the S14 is sexy, but there's something about the hatch that appeals to me. naturally, this is purely asthetic opinion and not at all based on actual facts or statistics...

 

 

S13's are lighter with stiffer suspension. S14's are heavier and have a stiffer chassis. Oh and this is a guess, but I'm pretty sure there's a hell of a lot more parts for the S13 (180sx) so you could consider that too. Basically it'll only come down to personal preference.

 

honestly...in my case...i went with 92 s13...because it was cheaper...i would go with s14 in a heartbeat...if it was same price and same condition...i think s14 is bigger and better...

I myself got the S-13 due to it's lighter weight, and of course it's less money. With the same power and mods an S-13 will better an S-14 on every front...it will be faster, handle better...ect..ect.
BUT with older car's like 13's u will have a few more parts that will break...and gettoness to undoo if the preavious Owner was a dummy. As for looks...well that is an open book....I LOVE my Sil-80 hach....but the S-14mc Looks GREAT stock! And for interiors, Again I prefer the S-13, I love the dash setup...and how close the controls are. But S-14's have really well setup interiors as well. Either way you are gonna get a great car! And for a refrence the last time i weighted my S-13 it was like 2495 without me in it.

my s13 hb wasent well taken care of, the interior anyways, it stinks, has been washed repataly. and stains everywere you look. my buddy has a s14, and I LOVE IT! soo clean, smells soo good.... soo sexy... i thinnk im going to go take his car now...
