s14 or s14a?

hi fellas,

im sure this topic has been beaten to death... but when i searched nothing came up.

i like the looks of the s14a better, but is there anything else thats a distinctive difference between a s14 and s14a? should i look for abs or is that something that can be added on later? i would love to have abs, but it seems tough to find one...

any and all comments are welcome. and thanks for reading.

mike

..ill be moving this topic to the general.

And the difference are only the front headlights, and the taillights. Everything else should be the same, maybe the gauge cluster is a lil diff. If ya want ABS then go ahead..stopping will be helped a lil. BTW welcome to the forums

thanks for the welcom hyjynx

i read somewhere that the 4-lug 240s DO NOT have abs where as the 5-lub 240s DO. can someone confirm or deny this for me? that'd be a super simple easy check...

My 4 Lug 240SX ('92) has antilock rear brakes, but standard brakes in the front.

theres no such thing as s14a or s14b... its simply 95-96 s14 or 97-98 s14.. you want to show me where in FSM;'s it shows A's and B's...

even thought it's not in the manual, would "zenki" and "kouki" be acceptable?

maybe im not picking up the sarcasm, but a would be after the front change or after i think april '96, and b would be before the front change, which is before april '96.
