S14 Seat Upgrade

So I found somebody trying to get rid of his Grey/Black S14 seats last night, drove an hour and picked them up. They had the rails, however were missing the Mounts to where the seats attaches to the car. Luckily the S13 mounts are the same, but taking the mounts off looks pretty damn hard. I can't complain because the dude gave them to me for FREE, but the mounts don't screw off, you'd have to physically rip the metal and take them off, and probably weld them on the s14 rails. Has anyone else dealt with this? If so, what did you do. Or does anyone have a spare set of rails w/ mounts ? heh.
I spent like 1 hour detailing and cleaning the seats, I think it'll make my interior look sooo much cleaner, my seats are looking gross.

Damn congrats on the free seats!! Jus take those mugs to a muffle shop and tell them what you need done. Or go buy the rails at the dealer/junkyard.

yeah, except that in NH there are no 240's in junkyards, not that i've seen anyways.
If I take it to a shop who knows how much he'll charge to rip off the mounts and weld them, I have a friend that can weld and offered to help, I was just wondering if anyone else had a suggestion.
