Quick question. I just recently put S14 seats in my S13 and i noticed they sit about 1.5 inches or higher than my s13 seats. Is there anyway i could lower the s14 seats? I dont like not being able to rest my arm on the console and my head comes pretty close to the roof.

 

Hmm, mine fit the same as the s13 seats. Are you using the s13 rails?

 

They do sit a little higher I think (they feel higher too), but I think its the padding of the bottom seat. Those seats already sit super low on the floor.

 

Nah, im using the s14 rails. And i think its the padding as well, i guess its something im just going to have to get used too.

s13 seats sucks *****. the padding in your old seats were just flat.

 

Yeah, i hated my S13 seats. They were stained, the fabric was loose on the foam, they had the driver side foam showing.

I got both my MINT s14 cloth seats for 50 bucks and they are soo much nicer.

 

nice find, i got mine for 75bucks at a local salvage yard. mint.

 

mine sit just as low as my old seats and mine were free FTW!

i just finished welding my stock sliders for my s13 so that i couldnt mount my momo t2000 stiff back racing seats, thay are ungodly comfortable and i got them remade to match the stock interior, plus when i welded the brackets i set the driver seat on a slight lean to make it more comfortable. total it cost me 75$ including the cost of the seats (i bought them on a local forum)

wow, im glad i never really had to drive on stock seats...i got the corbeaus from ron and put them in the day i bought my car. very comfortable but full buckets (F1spec or MAX) are coming soon.

 

Ok OK, this is the "brag about how much better your seats are than mine" thread. I was just happy about my s14 seats. They make my interior look a hell of alot cleaner.
