s14 skidpad

I have searched EVERYWHERE.....

Does anyone know what the stock skidpad for the s14 is?

well it varies from mag to mag but 0.85-0.89 is what ive found. stock suspension and tires, yikes!

Anybody think it is unreasonable to guess that with some substantial suspension mods and wider wheels/tires, is 0.95-1.00 a good estimate?

I haven't gotten mine onto a skidpad yet to check this haha

.95 is definately possible and with a bit more tuning 1.00 is acheivable.

obviously, there is no "answer". but would you care to take a gander at a possible skidpad....

245s on 17s all around, kumho ecsta mx

tein superstreets
lowered about 2.5 front, 2 rear

tanabe 28mm sway bars

cusco rucas

tein t/c rods, tie rods, pillowball upper mounts


just for fun take a guess for me

honestly i have no idea, i have to take into account indivisual settings such as camber toe caster and other stuff like weight distribution damper settings and above all, each car has its own problems and what not that you cant just guess.

but if you must hear our opinion, id say .91-.93

haha yeah it was just for fun, but obviously the most important thing is how much contact patch i put down on hard cornering, which is dependent upon alignment, stiffness of linkages, and many other things

oh and that was a pretty conservative guess so i wouldnt be surprised if the number was higher.

yeah i think its much higher, but i just wanted to hear a guess for fun....

i remember what it was like before i did anything, and it feels like 20 times better handling on corners and such...prolly a biiiiig jump up from stock skidpad
