Exclamation s14 window

so my window didnt work for the longest time, and then i took the door panel off, and i started to mess around with my amp, turns out, if i move the little connector that connects to the window amp a certain way my window will work, so i left it alone for a few minutes and i came back and it didnt work, and then again i played with it same thing, works and then stops working, any ideas why its doing this and how i could fix it ?

all i know is that my switch in my s14 is really touchy. you push it down to roll the window down, but i sometimes need to pull it up a little bit before i can get the window to come back up. the switch is easy to push down and gets stuck pushed down. idk how yours is or if its new. but MAYBE try a new switch first. my .02 good luck brother.

Ok. Again, I'm no wiring expert, but it sounds like something is loose. You have a loose connection somewhere whether its your window amp or motor or what. Do you have an fsm downloaded? See exactly what parts you are dealing with. Power windows are ballin but I'd rather have crankies any day of the week. If I miss spelled anything, I'm sorry but I'm on a cell phone. I know I'm no help but I think a service manual will be a good place to start. You can get one for free in a bunch of places online

ive checked the wires and ive look at other forums they say my window amp is bad, but why is it that when i move the harness at the amp it works sometimes? like it has a short, ive soldered the amp where it was broken, i wish i knew what it was, its really pissing me off ?
