saw this months ago....highlight of it is this....

"There is now a need for rear wheel drive coupes, with turbo engines or powerfull naturally aspirated ones. Take a close look at how well the Subaru WRX, the Mitsubishi Evolution, the Dodge Neon SRT-4 just to name a few."

none of those are rwd....

Yeah, that will get far. They mention drifting...who is going to buy a brand new Nissan right off the showroom floor & go drifting with it? Most that do it here in the states, are "younger" adults. That dont exactly have cash coming out of their ***. Not to mention. You wreck a brand new car at the track. Which will undoubtly happen. If you have no gap insurance, you get screwed, ect...
Yeah, that will rush the car righ tinto production..LOL

Not to mention. They say.."there are well over 100K members" blah, blah.Yet less than 800 sigs. I can understand if it was petitioned this morning, but it wasnt.
On top of that. Most that signed it dont even have the basic english language structure down.
I hate to say it but this wont go far.

Ppl have different aspects on what kinda car they want. I don't think Nissan built this car for "drifting". I heard it was an alternative to the prelude.
Go S16 Go.

well its worth a try. we all want the 240s back.. right? but now yall ditch one of the many oportunities.

i know this little petition aint gonna do sh*t... but why b*tch about it when yall so desperate of seeing the 240s back? at least there are people who put their minds together and started that thing.

no offense to people who dissagreed, but do yall really want the 240s back? or just sayin it to go with the flow.

i know they kinda screwed up by exagerating the whole 'reason' why we want the 240s back.. but is in it true though? arent there enough quick rwd cars out there now-a-days already?

sh*t... i singed it. what do i have to loose? exactly. nothing.
but i will feel better that i actually am a driver who tries.

That would be pretty neat but will not happen. I don think so at least. But if it did it would kind of suck because now everyone would be re-introduced to the 240. I say keep as little people as possible to find out about the past 240s. Because the more people who know about them and like them the less of them for us, lol. But dont get me wrong im still for it and i just signed it. 814 signatures.

Ka Power! btw.

I don't care if other people know about 240's, bringing it to light with a s16 wouldn't really bring much attention to older 240's, true people would know it more, but the people who would tune and fix one up already know about the 240, no worries, just a fun fun petition, kinda cool to see a following of some sort.

#825, i wouldn't buy new anyway, maybe if it was 5 years old and a good quality car overall...and if it looked good.

Poeple go out and drift 350z's and dodge vipers, also rx-7's which i would never wanna drift, too killer of a car, but then again they have the means of funding, they are the "pros"
