Sharing my S13 experience... (LONG)
Hey everybody! 
Just thought I'd share-
I've been actively looking for a 180SX. I regularly search online for the exact S13 I'm looking for... but so far, I havnt found it. I did get a chance to test drive a possible buy the other night. It was a '93. It was in... well... OK shape but not spectacular. Could have used a bit of work.
After driving my DC5 everyday and not owning a S13 since the 90's- I was pretty thrilled to swing down into the cockpit. Err... if thats what you want to call it. Once I got there I found that it seems either I had grown greatly or the car had shrunk since my last visit to the driver's seat! I wasnt sure which. I'll add that I'm NOT a big guy either. Somehow, I seemed to be unable to find a comfortable seating position. I worked it out the best that I could and turned the key. It RUMBLED to a start... meaning the car seemed to become a giant massage therapy machine as the engine bounced to life and idled slowly. Wooo-haaa. Gearbox still felt pretty damn good when I clicked it into first, then second and then... to the stop sign. Hmmmm... It seems that my size 11 shoes were stuck battling the carpet everytime I tried to make use of the clutch, brake and gas. Was this what I remembered? At this point, I'm blaming my Honda for making me lazy with the pedals. After re-situating myself for the Nth time, I decide to negotiate a left turn on a small winding road. I ease off the clutch, gas and swing the GIANT front end around the corner! Holy crap! Am I driving a sports car or a speedboat!? I decide to hit the throttle and see what this baby can do... oh yeah... that was...... exhilarating??? Needs an engine swap no doubt. I park it and take some time to go over the instrument panels and interior. Even after all these years, it's still not bad on the inside for a car over a decade old. Just as I let that thought cross my mind, the Nissan steering wheel emblem falls off in my lap. Ouch.
Overall, I'd have to say that once you get used to driving a newer and modern car, you really begin to take for granted some of the great things auto manufacturers have done for us over the years. Although, there will always be a certain amount of nostalgia associated with the S13 for me. It was a car that I drove the HELL out of and loved every minute of it... and hopefully I'll get a chance to bring one up to par and do the same again!

I just do my best to keep correct on the boards. If you read something and it looks like this: "I drived an 240Sx tooday and i twas grate!" ...then that just sucks. It's not a good read. And IMO, it doesnt make what you say any more worthwhile or credible.

sounds like a overall good experience, haha I also call my drivers seat the cockpit, from what i remember reading, the 240sx interior design was to reflect a airplane cockpit, to have the controls close to you and able to see over your dash...though my memory may be a bit hazy...
