Shaved Rear Hatch
I, like a lot of people used to have a rotted-out s13 hatch. I decided instead of buying a new hatch or finding a junk one , that i would fiberglass and bondo my old one. I have never heard of anyone doing this before and it seems like such a good idea. I just finished taking the hatch apart and sanding/ glassing the inside of the hatch. tommorow i will lay more glass on the inside, then use kitty-hair bondo, sand prime, and paint. My rear wiper, rotted spoiler holes and third brake light are all getting shaved, so i will have a completely shaved hatch. Pics will be posted as soon as i fix my usb port.
EDIT: that means that i also now have a third brake light and rear wiper motor/assembly for sale.

i did this about 6months ago looks fine takes a while when you teach yourself but quite easy when you have nothing better to do, the hardest time is wait time cause im the type to want it done right away.
yea on the first layer of glass, i didnt use enough hardener and it took forever to harden.-but it looks good so far and is very strong. i decided to go for the fix-it instead of a junker hatch because it was cheaper and they dont sell s13 hatches at home depot. lol

-i actually have a lot of expierience fiberglassing sub boxes and other speaker enclosures and decided to do this b/c i got sick of trying to find a quality carbon hatch with a reasonable price and finish.
