My automatic shifter button all of a sudden doesnt want to release like it used to. I have to press it hard a few times first. Could it be the sensor on the brake petal or just a problem with the shifter/gear box itself?

 

when i worked at the dealership every now and then the shifter button would get stuck in park all i can remeber is tha the guy that fixed went berzerk on the shifter and pulled an dpushed it so hard i thought it was gonna break but im not sure how they actually "fixed" the problembut i remeber it wasnt anything seriouse, hope thats what your is " nothing serious" good luck sorry i cant be more help.

 

yeah its probably the gearbox, today it worked fine. thanks for the info.
